Saving vanishing pig breeds

Here are two interesting stories. The first story is about saving heritage pigs before they’re lost in the quest for only the leanest or fastest growing breeds. Then, there’s another story is about a policy advisor in Ottawa, named Barbara Schaefer, who lost her job.

I think you know where we’re going, and yes, Barbara Schaefer has a new job now.
