wnyc We like the Please Explain continuing series on WNYC’s Leonard Lopate Show. This episode is about electricity – we use it, but do we understand it?

Lopate invites a couple of experts to answer questions about how it all works: Michael Caramanis from Boston University, and Dr. Robert Thomas, a professor from Cornell University. They cover a lot of ground in 35 minutes, and we learned a lot we didn’t know about how electricity gets from the power plant to the outlet.
