Here are some of the top stories on the PM programs today:
The World: Pieces of the Berlin Wall–which started to come down twenty years ago this month–are now all over the world. And while those remnants were once powerful symbols of freedom, their significance may be changing.
All Things Considered: Secretary of State Clinton arrived in Pakistan today for talks with leaders there. As she landed in Islamabad, nearly 100 people were killed in a bombing by militants in Peshawar. Jackie Northam reports on the bombing and Clinton’s efforts in the region.
Marketplace: GMAC has already received $13 billion in taxpayer funds, and now the consumer finance company is looking for more bailout money to stay afloat.
