The World: The opposition candidate for president of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah has been calling for that country’s top election official to resign because of close ties with President Hamid Karzai. The official, Azizullah Ludin, has also been sparring in the press with UN election officials. Jason Margolis reports.
