Is 2010 the year of the tablet computer?
This would be at least the second coming of the tablet computer. Remember the big push in 2004? I do. I bought one of those pen-based tablets. Annoying. Hmm… maybe the third coming? The Newton, etc?
Well, now Microsoft is touting the Courier, there’s a rumored Apple tablet coming, and the Crunchpad, which may be as much vaporware as anything. Regardless, multitouch and the success of computers like the iPhone has fired imaginations again around the idea of tablet computing.
