Saying goodbye to the newspaper
Today is the final issue of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, which switches to a new, digital-only product.
As Clay Shirky noted so eloquently a couple days ago, the end of a newspaper – perhaps the end of all newspapers eventually – is not the end of journalism. But it’s still sad to see traditions change.
We noted this last week, while it was airing in Seattle, but if you missed it, check out KUOW’s series of reports on the Post-Intelligencer. KPLU also features a series of reports on the end of the PI.
