Nobel laureate Steven Chu – now the Obama administration choice for Energy Secretary – talks, in-depth, about his education, his interest in science and his early struggles to understand it, what separates world class scientists from the rest.
Ignore the quirkiness of the show, the opening music, etc. As I’m writing this, I’ve watched nearly all of it, and what comes through so clearly is Chu’s charm, his intelligence, and his ease at explaining science in easy-to-understand terms.
