LP Album Art: who cares about the best; give us your worst
CBC Radio 3 has unleashed the participatory instinct of Canadians, and listeners the world over… asking listeners to contribute their examples of the worst album cover art of all time.
(Children: albums are a brand new, extremely trendy technology, based on analog reproduction techniques which may one day become the standard for audio.) (Next week: cassettes)
The post went up Monday, and already, there are two long coffee-breaks’ worth of comments with URL’s to cover art, ranging from the weird to the hilarious to the unintentionally inappropriate.
Dig in. In the week before Christmas, each passing day results in a 30% loss in productivity from the previous day. Don’t fight it. Even if it’s a layoff notice underneath the mistletoe, there’s still some reason to celebrate the season (read, not do work). We’re just trying to help.
