NPR Live Chat: Funding Credit Fracas
A brief note while we’re wending our way around the country…
NPR will host a live chat with its ombudsman this afternoon at 3pm ET/12pm PT. Alicia Shepard says she’s received a number of comments and complaints from listeners about a funding credit from the Department of Homeland Security:
The Department of Homeland Security, offering E-Verify, confirming the legal working status of new hires. At DHS dot gov slash E Verify
The credit is also one of the topics on Talk of the Nation’s first hour today, airing live from 2-3pm ET/11am-12pm PT, and Shepard will be a part of that discussion, too.
Shepard has already written about the credit on her blog, but if you’d like to express your views directly to her, you have two chances: live radio or live chat.
