Don’t Miss: Malcolm Gladwell, on… wherever.

Gladwell has a new book out, Outliers, and is making the rounds again, so you’ll likely encounter him on a number of local and national shows over the next few weeks.

Here he is, on Wednesday’s Leonard Lopate Show on WNYC. Gladwell is questioning the role of talent and intellgence and experience in achievement. And as is the rule with Gladwell’s work, whether it’s one of his books or his articles for The New Yorker, there are lots of surprises inside, including his fascination with the birthdates of high achievers, or the fact that most Nobel Prize winners were taught by individuals who would soon be Nobel winners themselves. Whatever you think of his thesis, Gladwell’s enthusiasm is infectious. Listen

And here he is on yesterday’s On Point with Tom Ashbrook. Each interview is different and Ashbrook spends more time focusing his questions on the implicit attack on meritocracy in Gladwell’s thesis. We’re not asking you to listen to both, but pick one and explore the Gladwellian world. Listen
